PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Calcium Hypochlorite Granular form (Chlorine) is commonly used as an antiseptic and is used to make drinking water safe and to treat swimming pools. Large amounts of chlorine are used in many industrial processes, such as in the production of paper products, plastics, dyes, textiles, medicines, antiseptics, insecticides, solvents and paints.

PRECAUTIONS
Restrict access to the contaminated area until clean-up is complete. Wear adequate personal protective equipment. Extinguish or remove all ignitable sources. Then keep the area in good ventilation.
CLEAN-UP
Do not touch spilled material. Prevent it from entering sewers or confined space. Shovel spilled material into clean, dry, labeled containers. Flush area with water. Contaminated materials may be washed in water and then treated the washing with a reducing agent such as sodium sulfite before discharge.
HANDLING Avoid generating dust. Due to fire hazard do not contaminate calcium hypochlorite.
STORAGE Keep in original, tightly closed containers and store with clean, cool, open or well-ventilated area away from the sun.
